4.0 quake Suzu Shi, Ishikawa, Japan, 14 Aug 2021 10:38 pm (GMT +9)
Our monitoring service identified a second report from the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) which listed the quake at magnitude 4.1.
Towns or cities near the epicenter where the quake might have been felt as very weak shaking include Nanao (pop. 45,300) located 56 km from the epicenter, Nyūzen (pop. 27,600) 68 km away, Kurobe-shi (pop. 42,600) 70 km away, Himimachi (pop. 54,500) 75 km away, Takaoka (pop. 170,100) 86 km away, Toyama (pop. 325,500) 90 km away, and Jōetsu (pop. 204,100) 98 km away.
